Advanced Locating is a certified locating organisation (CLO), with all operators fully Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) certified.
This certification recognises locators who demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and significant practical experience in underground service locating. It is designed to identify industry professionals who meet the highest standards and deliver reliable, accurate results.
Achieving Certified Locating Organisation status ensures our team operates in line with industry best practices and compliance requirements. Under WHS Regulations 2011 (Section 304), all reasonable steps must be taken to obtain current underground essential services information before any excavation work begins.
There is also a clear duty of care to minimise risks to workers, the public, and surrounding infrastructure. Underground networks are complex, requiring expert interpretation, precise locating, and careful validation methods such as potholing to confirm asset locations.
